TURN YOUR CAMPUS 2016 RECAP

Last Saturday was an incredible day at Biola University with over 1,600 people coming out for Turnyourcampus! I'm always excited for events that I get to teach at, and bring our FUSION Youth to. Here's a pic with some of our crew! 

TurnYourCampus is a one day training event for Students and the Adults who mentor them. There were 40 workshops offered in tracks for Junior High & High School students, Youth Workers, and Educators.

This year I was invited to teach one of my seminars entitled THE CALL TO REBEL: Experiencing Jesus the way he really is! 

It's a teaching where I get to correct misconceptions about who Jesus is, and how he lived while he walked this earth. All three Sessions that I taught were packed out with Youth and Leaders sitting on the floor and listening in the hallway during my last session.

It was an interesting and unique experience like every year, and I couldn'tt believe how many people I knew at the event. I must have talked briefly to about 500 people throughout the day, and was so excited to see some of the Church & School Groups that I've recently connected with attending for the first time. 

One of my new friends Jose Rodriguez was one of the main stage keynote speakers, and he decided to give me an impromptu invitation to come up on the stage with him as he taught the youth a couple of hand tutting moves from his dance crew days.

This is such a special event because youth from so many different Cities, Churches, School Groups, Para-Church Organizations, and backgrounds all come together under with the same vision of learning to LISTEN, WATCH, and FOCUS as they partners with God to Turn their Campuses! 

Whether its the Music, DJ's, Spoken Word, Main Session, Seminar Tracks, or the Lunch there really is something for everyone at this event. At our Youth Group FUSION we've made Turn Your Campus a staple event on our calendars every year, and I would encourage you to do the same.
